Do you want to make your relationship known and the fact that you can't drives you batty? Remember, there are lots of benefits to dating in secret. You can be yourselves completely, away from prying eyes, and get to know each other better as potential longterm romantic partners. Arranged Marriage

To have and to hold, you said, till death do us part, all while the sharp, swinging pendulum of obligation hung overhead. But how could you have truly meant those words? This union has been tainted from the start, forever bearing the chains of an arranged marriage. It would be understandable if you couldn't bear to look at your new life partner, eternal reminder of your stolen future that they are, much less like them.
Much less love them...

Still, things can change.

You could realize that they are in the same boat as you or, that when compared to others around you,
they are the lesser of evils. Perhaps you even open up to the idea of a friendship; at the very least,
an alliance may be in order to become a power couple in a perilous world. From that innocent decision or sense of self-preservation, a new feelings sparks. Something like affection.

Something, you realize in the wake of speeding heartbeats, like love.

Will you acknowledge this? Can the two of you have a happily ever after - happier than if you'd met in another fashion - or will you hold firm in your distaste?

POSSIBLE REASONS FOR MARRIAGE:

① Station → You come from a royal, noble, or otherwise distinguished family who has chosen a suitable spouse for you.
② Feud → You are being married to put an end to the bitter enmity between your two families.
③ Economics → Your economic state and/or your station will improve through the union, though one of you may be marrying down.
④ Empire → You and your spouse are merging your businesses and/or property to create something more influential or profitable.
⑤ Tribute → You have been offered as a gift or appeasement, alternately you're the spoils of war.
⑥ Bloodline → Carrying on your distinguished family name has fallen to you and the equally well-bred spouse of your family's selection.
⑦ Disapproval → Your marriage has been arranged to keep you away from the person with whom you truly wish to be.

POSSIBLE SCENARIOS:

① First meeting → This is the very first time you're meeting your future spouse.
② Courtship → To get to know each other and encourage affection, your family has approved of you going on dates.
③ Engagement party → Be it a huge, formal affair or a small, intimate get together, you're celebrating (or pretending).

In most cultures, sex is a hallowed, intimate act that is supposed to be kept between two individuals in a private setting, not for the eyes of interlopers. But even outside of that, there are reason you'd want to keep you sexual activities a secret: your age, the fact that one or both of you are committed to others, your orientation not being common knowledge, the relationship itself being taboo or forbidden in some way, or the place you're having intercourse being one that is NOT suited for that sort of activity...like a public spot or a friend's home. Despite better judgement and in spite of all the danger, though, today you're having sex in a place or in a scenario where their is a high risk of being caught. HOW TO PLAY - Comment with your character and preferences. - Others will comment to you. - Why are your characters smutting it up? It's up to you, but here are some ideas: + They're so in love they can't keep their hands off of each other, no matter where they may be...or who may be around. + The random desire strikes. + This is the only chance to have sex they've got. + If they're cheating, perhaps there's a streak of cruelty to stick it to who they're cheating on by doing it so boldly. + One partner wants to potentially humiliate the other, OR torture an enemy who is close to/a significant other of their partner. + The danger of maybe being caught - or quite very likely being caught - is a thrill and a kink.

This was never supposed to happen. You're not the average person, going doe-eyed and soft for anyone and everyone. Perhaps you're not even a person: you're of another species, an angel, an alien, a demon, something beyond human emotions. Or, if you are as human as human could be, you tend towards coldness; you could be just a naturally cool personality, a person with a cause that you’ve forsaken all else for, someone who’s repressed all emotions for personal or safety reasons, or even an individual trained or brainwashed to be blank and calculating. Details. No matter what, this was never supposed to happen. At best, you were meant to be uninvolved. Just a casual, unaffected observer, or someone unaffiliated with them. At worst, they were intended to be a target for you. At neutral? Well, you're not supposed to know or care about them. Certainly, you weren't intended to love (love?) the way they make you feel, the way they smell, their face. You shouldn't want to know how it feels to touch them; you shouldn't want to know what it would be with them forever. Above all else, you should not be having sex with them, the most heated of all actions. Whether it be the first time or the hundredth time you've had sex, this is the first time you're body's felt like it might catch fire, as if intercourse is an emotion rather than a sensation. No matter if they're gently guiding the way or you're taking charge, you're realizing the inevitable - you're in love with them. It's too late for you to freeze yourself once again. You've already warmed up beyond measure by all that they've shown you. Will you admit to that or harden your heart as much as you can?
