A disaster awaits in the near future, you've seen it happen with your own eyes. It rips to your core and destroys all you hold dear. But you're given a chance-- A loop hole. Almost literally. It could be a wish granted by a cute mascot character who you must never trust. A strange tear in reality that you can enter. Maybe a potion. Maybe a weird alien's blood gets in your mouth and you die. Who knows. But the fact is now you can go back to the start.

Maybe it sounds easy at first. But who knows what caveats this 'blessing' comes with. Never mind whatever trauma you're attempting to correct-- does the jump screw with your memories? Can you even remember why you're repeating the day/month/year/LIFETIME. And if your memory is intact, who's to say anyone will believe or trust what you're saying.

And just maybe.

You'll make things so much worse.

This prompt is obviously inspired by the trope of out of place time travelers trying to alter fate (Edge of Tomorrow and Homura Akemi are some good examples). But your character doesn't need to be attempting to save a specific person. Maybe they're trying to take someone out before they cause a disaster. Maybe they're attempting to save the world? Man, maybe they just REALLY want to repeat time for some trivial reason that's important to them. And who knows if this is their first--Second--Fifteenth--THOUSANDTH loop. That's half the fun. Just roll around in the mud and get messy ig.

A smut meme

Daily life is complicated enough for normal people. When you're an RP character, your life also contains giant robots and magic powers and dramatic battles and just a whole lot of stress and not a lot of personal time. Isn't it about time to get away from it all for a while? Just take it easy for a week or two at a five star resort hotel on a tropical island? Doesn't that sound nice?

This island features white sand beaches, big waves ideal for surfing, shielded bays ideal for swimming, tropical rain forests ideal for exploring, rejuvenating hot springs, and even a quaint little town full of cute knicknack shops and stylish cafes. The resort itself has rentable speedboats, guided tours, overnight booze-cruises, a five star restaurant, sea-side bungalows to stay in, massage parlors, arcades, and even a sizeable waterpark. Everything you could ask for in this little slice of paradise.

This is no ordinary tropical island, though. It is home to a number of rare flowers renowned for their beauty and also the strange effects their scents have on people. Just a whiff can do all kinds of things to the unsuspecting tourist. The locals are used to it, and don't think poorly of someone acting a little crazy when exposed for the first time. They've all been ther, after all.

Prompts

White: These trumpet shaped blossoms have almost no scent at all, but leave anyone who smells them with a gentle feeling that maybe clothes are just kind of unncessary. More than that, in fact. You actively WANT to show off your body for everyone to see. You're damn sexy, after all. Give them all a treat.

Red: These flowers are vaguely reminiscent of roses and have a sweet, almost cloying scent. Anyone who smells them is filled with a strong affection for the people around them. If they're strangers, you'll want to get to know them and make new friends. If they're already friends, you'll want to deepen your relationship with them, however you want to interpret that ;). If they're someone you already feel romantic feelings for, well, you'll feel an urge to make sure they know that with dramatic displays of love.

Orange: These tiny clusers of flowers smell fainly of fruit, though no one can agree on what kind of fruit. Anyone who smells them is filled with a sense of generosity and opened mindedness. Free love is the name of the game. Why limit yourself to one person when you have so much to give? Threesomes, fourseomes, and moresomes suddenly seem appealing.

Yellow: These vibrant yellow blossoms have an overpowering floral scent that increases the body's sensitivity. Hang out around them too long and even a light breeze will feel sensual. Someone actually touching you will be almost unbearably overwhelming. The petals are often brewed into a tea that is offered before getting a massage.

Green: The flowers are easy to mistake for just clasters of leaves to the naked eye, and have a strangely savory scent, sort of like rosemary. Smelling it plants an urge to have a risky, sexy secret. Use a vibrator under your clothes. Go down on someone under a restaurant table. Have sex behind some bushes in the park. The riskier, the better! It's not like anyone on this island, of all places, is going to judge you too harshly if you get caught!

Blue: These light blue blossoms grow in clusters on drooping vines and smell kind of like vanilla. They make people who smell them feel like letting someone else take charge. Just do whatever your friend says. Let them tie you up, boss you around, anything. If they're happy, you're happy. Often found growing near the violet flowers. The vines they grow on make excellent improvised rope.

Violet: These spiky bushes are dotted with vibrantly purple flowers that have a tangy scent to them. They make people who smell them feel filled with confidence and a need to be in charge. Nothing sounds better right now then making someone do what YOU want to do. They fortunately tend to grow near the blue flowers.

Black: These honestly kind of phallic looking black flowers have an almost spicy scent to them and are the least subtle flowers on the island. Smelling them just gets your motor running and your juices flowing. You feel gradually hornier and hornier until you get down with someone. Self love just won't cut it. Fortunately, anyone else hanging out by the black flowers is likely to feel the same way.

Wildflowers: Those flowers I just listed are the most common kinds, but it's a decently sized island with all KINDS of plant life. Make up a flower with whatever kind of effect you can imagine that I didn't come up with! OR, it's not uncommon for multiple kinds of these flowers to grow in clusters, layering their effects on top of each other. Get creative!

If we're honest, fictional characters can be generalized into two camps: 1. good people who have crap happen to them or 2. just crappy people. But bad or good, cheery or grouchy, undeserving or no, we sometimes shamelessly want them to have something nice in life. Or, more accurately, someone nice. In book 10 of Ovid's Metamorphoses, Pygmalion was a Cypriot sculptor who carved a woman out of ivory. According to Ovid, after seeing the Propoetides prostituting themselves, Pygmalion declared that he was "not interested in women", but then found his statue was so beautiful and realistic that he fell in love with it.

In time, Aphrodite's festival day came, and Pygmalion made offerings at the altar of Aphrodite. There, too scared to admit his desire, he quietly wished for a bride who would be "the living likeness of my ivory girl." When he returned home, he kissed his ivory statue, and found that its lips felt warm. He kissed it again, and found that the ivory had lost its hardness. Aphrodite had granted Pygmalion's wish.
