No one deserves that feeling, not from the very kindness to the worst people in the world. There should be someone for everyone! This is easy enough to achieve. Just a change in a few lines of code, really... You wake up in a room in a place that could be described as your ideal, whatever that is. Modern, old-fashioned, futuristic, the setting is whichever you would be most comfortable with. Yet this new environment is not the most important feature here; instead, that honor goes to the fact that you are not alone. You are sharing this place, which seems familiar like a far-off dream, with another person. This person claims to be your significant other. But that can't be right, can it? Still, they want to love you, show affection, like they claim you two "always are." That's...nice. Suddenly, you feel less alone, even if you never knew you felt that way before. There's emotional weight, there's contentment, there are arms to hold you and make you feel wanted. Perhaps they're right. This is where you belong. After all, you're starting to remember, too, and everything is seeming more and more familiar. For just a little while, why not have some peace?
