1. fake married — undercover agents, pretending to be married to keep creepy people from hitting on you in bars, etc.
2. forced married — one or both of you didn't have a choice in the matter.
3. marriage of convenience — tax breaks, to get into political office, to get an insurance... whatever the reason, you didn't marry for love.
4. not married — it doesn't have to be marriage. maybe you're just pretending to be in a relationship for whatever reason?
5. mistakenly believed to be married — you think that person is married. you're wrong
6. other — alien ritual? drunk in las vegas?
